[NOTE Feb 4th, 2020: If they had kept the genuine caucus format, described below, there would have been no fiasco at the Iowa Dem caucus and a verifiable vote count would have been reported by midnight Feb 3rd. Below is the solution]
During election season we need volunteers to attend their caucuses & take pictures of their caucus tally sheet with their cell phone & send it to us by text the night of the caucuses as verification that the numbers reported by the election officials & the media are accurate..
This is a non partisan effort & all candidates & their supporters need to make an all out effort to ensure an open & accurate vote count. The caucuses offer a rare opportunity to do this since the voting is done in town hall style, in the open, with results posted live at each caucus.
No one can trust that the numbers being sent in by computer or phone are being reported accurately at the county or State level.
Wherever we have a volunteer monitoring the vote count and sending in a picture of the tally sheet, we have proof of the actual vote count to compare with what the Party officials report.
We must restore transparency by returning to HAND MARKED, hand-counted paper ballots, counted in full public view, posted at the polling place for all to see, in every precinct of every county, in every state, BEFORE the ballots are removed public sight and the chain of evidence is broken.
